We are very pleased to announce our new Trustee, Samantha Coggins-Thompson. Samantha is a corporate governance, internal audit, and regulatory risk senior executive. With over thirty five years’ experience, working domestically and internationally in financial services, we’re excited to have Samantha join as our Treasurer Trustee, helping us work towards our vision of a world without cervical cancer.

Within her career and personal life, Samantha enjoys devoting her own time to supporting young people kickstart their futures by being a mentor for Career Ready UK, a national social mobility charity. She also dedicates time to mentor female leaders of the future and aspiring governance, risk and compliance (GRC) leaders.

Why did you want to be a Trustee?

“I am very excited to join Jo’s as Treasurer Trustee. My passion for Jo’s mission is based on my own experience of treatment for cell changes and my close friend’s radical hysterectomy due to frequently recurring cell changes. Putting my knowledge and expertise from the corporate world into something I am passionate about is great, and I was delighted when Jo’s chose me to join them.”

Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust is embarking on an exciting time as we develop and implement a new five-year strategy and build our plans to get closer to our vision of eliminating cervical cancer. We welcome Samantha’s wealth of knowledge and experience as we continue to grow as a charity.

Our Chief Executive Samantha Dixon says:

“We’re thrilled to have new faces join our trustee team. It's an exciting time at Jo's as we embark on our five-year strategy and we're excited to have our new trustees bring new ways of thinking, troves of knowledge, and invaluable experiences to the team."
